Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi (1976 batch) Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Professional experience (44 years)

After her CA training with Price Waterhouse Coopers and Vaish Associates Advocates (Tax Law Firm), she founded Vaish & Associates, Chartered Accountants in 1985. Later, she also worked as audit partner in Deloitte Haskins & Sells New Delhi (1995-2000). She was responsible for managing the Deloitte practice up to year 2000. She specializes in Valuation, Due Diligence and Estate Planning. She continues to be associated with Vaish Law Firm as consultant. She is on the board of few listed companies and also chairs their audit committee. She was the President of FICCI FLO (2010-11), the women wing of FICCI the apex chamber of Commerce in India. She was the Governing body member of PHD Chambers of Commerce (2011-12).
