The firm through its Managing Partner Ranjana Agarwal is committed to support the good work being done by Hardayal Foundation in the field of health care.
In 1996, Late Shri O.P.Agarwal an industrialist and philanthropist started a ‘Hardayal Foundation Trust’ in the memory of his late father. He pledged a corpus fund for the welfare of polio affected handicap patients so that they could lead a life of self respect.
Hardayal Viklang Seva Kendra at Agra has since helped around 34000 patients providing them with calipers, crutches, artificial limbs, tricycles and wheelchairs as per their need.
A camp / workshop is held every first Thursday of the month for 3-4 days. The patients come from the remote corners of the country and are attended by qualified doctors and technicians.
Since the prosthesis (the limbs) are made as per the weight, height and deformity of the patients limbs are fabricated on site.
Hardayal Viklang Kendra as it is popularly called is the only centre in northern India which also provides repair facility and continued service totally free of cost.
All the expenses of the charitable work are met out of donations and internal accruals. All donations are exempt under section 80 G of the Income Tax Act.
Contributions to the trust can be made in the name of ‘ Hardayal Foundation Trust’ payable at Delhi or Agra
