Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi (1976 batch)
Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (1981-82 Batch).

Professional experience (30 years)
After her CA training with Price Waterhouse Coopers and Vaish Associates Advocates (Tax Law Firm), she founded Vaish & Associates, Chartered Accountants in 1985. Later, she also worked as audit partner in Deloitte Haskins & Sells New Delhi (1995-2000). She specializes in Valuation, Due Diligence and Estate Planning. She continues to be associated with Vaish Law Firm as consultant.

BOARD POSITIONS
She is on the board of few listed companies including ICRA Limited and also chairs their audit committee.

Position in Chambers of Commerce
President of FICCI FLO (2010-11), the women wing of FICCI the apex chamber of Commerce in India.
Governing body member of PHD Chambers of Commerce (2011-12).

OTHER POSITIONS

- All India Chair of Women Corporate Directors, USA – a networking forum for sitting and prospective women directors (Up to 2015-16).

- Governing council member (2007-2009) – Mobile Creches, an NGO for working mothers and children of construction labourers.

- Life Trustee of HVK an NGO which helps rehabilitate handicaps.

- Life trustee & Treasurer of Vaish Associates Public Welfare Trust.

Award
Received the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini award for professional excellence and entrepreneurship.

Personal Details
Born in 1956, Lives in Delhi and has two daughters.
